How to send flowers to a patient at AtlantiCare (City Campus)
- Confirm the patient is admitted and which unit they are on. Call the main number, 609-345-4000, and ask; the unit determines whether flowers are allowed.
- Order online with the hospital's street address. Use 1925 Pacific Avenue, Atlantic City, NJ 08401, not a P.O. box.
- Add the patient's full legal name and the unit or room. Put it in the recipient name and delivery-instructions fields so the information desk can route it.
- Order in the morning. Patients are often discharged before noon; an early same-day order has the best chance of arriving in time.
- Include your phone number. The florist calls you if the patient has moved or been discharged, so the delivery can be redirected.

About AtlantiCare (City Campus)
The Atlantic City Campus is one of AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's two hospital campuses; the other is the Mainland Campus in Pomona. The city campus has the region's only state-designated trauma center (Level II), a comprehensive stroke center, the regional psychiatric crisis center and AtlantiCare's inpatient pediatric unit. Most patient rooms on this campus are private.
Babies are not delivered here. AtlantiCare's maternity unit and neonatal intensive care are at the Mainland Campus in Pomona, so new-baby flowers should be addressed there, not to Pacific Avenue.
AtlantiCare (City Campus) flower policy
AtlantiCare does not publish a rule on flowers, plants or balloons for either campus; its pages say only that letters, cards and packages are delivered to patient rooms daily. Call the campus at 609-345-4000 and ask the unit before sending flowers to intensive care, pediatrics or psychiatry.
As at most hospitals, flowers are generally welcome on medical, surgical, maternity and rehabilitation floors and not permitted in intensive-care units or rooms with immunocompromised patients. Latex balloons are usually banned; Mylar balloons are fine. If you are unsure which unit the patient is on, call the hospital and ask before ordering.

AtlantiCare's gift shop page lists a shop only at the Mainland Campus, not in Atlantic City, so plan on an outside florist for this campus.
What to send to a hospital room
- Compact vase arrangement, low fragrance, in a stable non-glass container: fits a crowded bedside table.
- Bright gerbera daisies or sunflowers: cheerful, scent-free and sturdy.
- A small flowering plant: goes home with the patient and keeps giving.
- Mylar balloon bouquet: the fallback when the unit does not allow flowers.

AtlantiCare (City Campus) delivery FAQ
Can I send new-baby flowers to AtlantiCare in Atlantic City?
Not for a birth. AtlantiCare's Center for Childbirth and its NICU are at the Mainland Campus in Pomona. The Atlantic City Campus does have the inpatient pediatric unit, so flowers for a hospitalized child may belong here; confirm the campus first.
Is the Atlantic City Campus the same as AtlantiCare Mainland?
No. AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center has two hospital campuses: Atlantic City, at 1925 Pacific Avenue, and Mainland, in Pomona. A delivery sent to the wrong campus will not reach the patient, so confirm which one they are in before ordering.
Can I send flowers to a patient at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, Atlantic City Campus?
Yes. Order online with the hospital's address (1925 Pacific Avenue, Atlantic City, NJ 08401), the patient's full name and the unit or room. The florist delivers to the information desk, and hospital staff bring the arrangement to the patient.
Do I need the room number?
It helps but is not required. The patient's full legal name and the unit are enough for the desk to route the delivery.
Is same-day delivery available to AtlantiCare (City Campus)?
Usually, when you order in the morning. The hospital is inside the regular Atlantic City delivery zone; the cutoff for your date is shown at checkout.
What if the patient is discharged before the flowers arrive?
The hospital will refuse the delivery and the florist will contact you to redirect it, normally to the patient's home. Order early in the day to avoid this.
